How to get the best rainbows:

For optimal results, place your suncatcher in east, west, or south-facing windows. East-facing windows produce beautiful morning light, west-facing windows are ideal for afternoon sun, and south-facing windows offer exposure throughout the day—especially useful in winter when the sun is lower on the horizon.

Direct sunlight is necessary for the suncatcher to work. However, placing it in the sunniest window might make it harder to control the ambient light in the room. Using curtains or blinds can help direct sunlight onto your suncatcher.

Keep in mind that weather, time of year, seasons, and placement all influence the quality of rainbows you see. If your suncatcher isn’t producing rainbows, it may be due to changes in the seasons, weather, or the sun’s position.

Instructions:

You will need:

• Water (a spray bottle is helpful)
• Squeegee
• Paper towels or cleaning cloth

1. Clean the glass or window surface.
2. Wet the window or glass surface using a paper towel, microfibre cloth, or spray bottle.
3. Peel your decal from the liner and place the adhesive side onto the wet glass. The decal will appear to float, allowing you to adjust its position easily.
4. Once positioned, gently squeegee out the excess water and air bubbles to adhere the decal to the glass. The adhesive may appear milky, but this will clear up as the water dries, which can take about 3 days.
5. After removing air bubbles and excess water, dry the window with a paper towel or microfibre cloth.
6. Enjoy your beautiful rainbows!
